As a fine art photographer, I have always grappled with the question of whether it's better to be a painter or a photographer. Being an artist who lacks painting skills, photography has offered me the opportunity to create art. However, in photography, I am limited to what I can create from something that already exists. As a painter, you have the freedom to create anything from your imagination. But when AI technology emerged, I leaped at the endless possibilities it offered to create art from the images in my mind. While I am reliant on a machine, the results I have achieved truly express what I intended to convey.
