I am beyond excited to be exhibiting at the Foto Nostrum Gallery in Barcelona as part of the 14th Pollux Award Prize for the series Keeping The Flame,a pictorial essay about the Jewish community in Cuba.Opening ReceptionWednesday March 4th 2020 7:00 pm The show will be up until March 28th.

With the images from my project "keeping the Flame", I created a movie called, "But I Am Here". The movie examines the challenges of the Jewish community in Cuba and it is also a reflection on my journey of faith. A glimpse of the movie!
Additionally, Bnai Brith magazine published an article by Nan Weiner called Winter Cuba, using images from "Keeping the Flame". Nan and I plan to continue collaborating on this project, and I hope to return to Cuba to interview and photograph more of their Jewish community. Our goal is to create a book memorializing their special community that is on the verge of decline. read more & PDF Brochur
