In 2018, I was honored to be chosen as the winner of a competition hosted by the LACP a photography organization in Los Angeles. As the winner, I was awarded a solo exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Boston, curated by Paula Tognarelli, the museum's chairman. I was thrilled and excited for this opportunity to showcase my work in a respected institution like the Griffin Museum.

The exhibition, titled "Orchard Trail," was a culmination of my work as a photographer, featuring a series of 19 diptychs that explored the relationship between two images to tell a single story. Paula was drawn to my diptych work, recognizing how two photos could convey a story and convey emotions that might be difficult to achieve through a single image.

"Orchard Trails" is not only an exhibition but also a photographic art book that I created. It showcases my diptychs and explores the relationship between two images, telling a single story through a series of 19 diptychs.

It was a proud moment for me to present my work at the Griffin Museum, as it was my first solo exhibition. Friends from Maine media workshops and family from Israel came to support me, making it even more special.

The exhibition was well-received, and I was honored to receive a glowing review in the Boston Globe by Mark Feeney. In his critique, he noted the simplicity and complexity of my work, saying, "Greenboim, an Israeli-born photographer who now lives in California, plays off of uniform presentation with highly varied subject matter."

The exhibition not only allowed me to showcase my work, but it also provided me with the opportunity to meet and connect with other talented artists in the fine art photography world. These connections have continued until today, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have met such amazing and talented individuals.
